Obsidian keeps familiar Gielinor, weapons and armour at the centre of progression. Train skills, take Slayer assignments, collect normal loot and develop a build around the activities you enjoy.
Loot. Learn. Equip.
Earn physical Sigils, Cores, Catalysts and Perk Essence through gameplay. Craft specific perk tomes at the Forge, read them to unlock perks and choose your active effects in Equipped Tomes. Review socket and equipment-upgrade effects and costs before committing materials.
A First Build, Then a New Challenge
Start at the Grand Exchange with melee, ranged and magic equipment, food, coins and tools. Follow the hands-on home tour and first combat or gathering adventure to earn an Apprentice Core. The website build planner shows ingredients and shareable setups.
Four Expedition Destinations
Progress from Giant's Vault through Drowned Cavern and Infernal Crucible toward Fractured Sanctum. Expeditions include waves, end bosses, equipment loot and Obsidian materials. Fractured Sanctum is solo-capable and scales for 1-4 players, with custom enemies and a multi-phase final boss.
Goals for Your Next Session
Weekly challenges, level-appropriate daily tasks, contracts, achievements and Boss Mastery offer further targets. An opt-in group finder helps players arrange runs without making ordinary solo play depend on a party.

Standard, Ironman, Hardcore Ironman and Ultimate Ironman. Create a website account to sign into the game. Windows launcher with Java included and standalone JAR downloads are available.
