RuneLocus is now RULOCUS

If you’re looking for RuneLocus, you’re in the right place. RuneLocus became RULOCUS on 23 May 2025. Same RSPS toplist, same team, same rankings, under a new name and a new domain: runelocus.com now brings you to rulocus.com.

What changed

The name and the domain. That’s it. RuneLocus had been the name since 2007, when Ikiliki founded it as the first dedicated RSPS toplist. In May 2025 it became RULOCUS.

Two reasons drove the change. First, we wanted room to grow: RULOCUS also lists servers for other games, and that needed a name without one game in it. Second, we knew the “Rune” prefix wasn’t something every party in the RuneScape world was comfortable with, even though we held the rights to the RuneLocus name. Out of respect for that, we moved the rebrand forward rather than waiting.

What did not change

  • The RSPS list. It’s the same list, with the same history behind it. Nearly two decades of RSPS listings, votes and stats carried over.
  • The rankings. Servers are ranked by verified player votes, audited daily, exactly as before. See how our rankings work in our methodology.
  • The people. The team behind RuneLocus is the team behind RULOCUS. Meet them on the about page.
  • Your account. Server owners kept their listings, logins and vote history. Players kept their voting habits: same 12-hour cooldown, same rules.

For most players the change was almost invisible: same list, same login, same voting, one morning under a different name.

What came after

Since the rebrand, the platform has kept moving: informative descriptions on every listing, verified statistics and audit results you can check on each server’s page, a launch calendar for upcoming servers, and our first data report on four years of vote fraud, the vote-fraud report. The list you knew as RuneLocus is still here, and it’s better documented than it has ever been.

You’ll find the old name in forum posts, Discord servers, and server websites that link to us. Those links still work: they redirect to rulocus.com. If you run a server and want to update your vote links, the current URLs are on your listing’s page.
