At RULOCUS, we aim to provide a fair and transparent platform where private servers can be listed and discovered by the gaming community.
From time to time, we receive reports from users about personal conflicts or issues involving specific servers. While we take all concerns seriously, it’s important to understand that RULOCUS is not a governing body and does not mediate disputes between players and servers.
This FAQ outlines our position on these matters and explains what can — and cannot — be reported to RULOCUS.
Can I report a game due to a personal conflict?
No, RULOCUS does not intervene in personal disputes or conflicts between players and private servers.
We are not responsible for managing the internal policies or community issues of individual servers. Our role is to provide a platform for listing servers, but we do not govern their actions, rules, or user interactions.
Why won't you take action against a game I have a conflict with?
We cannot investigate personal disputes, such as bans or conflicts between players and server staff.
There are two main reasons for this:
-
It’s not feasible. Investigating such matters would require full access to a server’s game and chat logs to verify what truly happened — and every party usually has its own version of the story. We do not have that level of access, nor is it our role to obtain it.
-
Each server operates independently. Private servers set their own rules, manage their own communities, and make their own decisions. It’s not up to RULOCUS to judge how a server is run, as long as its actions don’t directly harm our platform. Acting as a referee would go against the open nature of what private servers are meant to be.
What should I do if I have a conflict with a game?
We recommend addressing your concerns directly with the server’s staff or following any dispute resolution processes they have in place.
Can I report a server for cheating?
Yes, you can report a server for vote manipulation — but only if you can provide clear and verifiable evidence.
Please note that we have advanced systems in place to detect and block fake votes automatically. In most cases, suspicious activity is already filtered out before it affects rankings. If any false votes do manage to slip through, we’ll take steps to prevent it from happening again.
Keep in mind that our goal is not to remove or ban servers from the platform. If your report is primarily intended to get a server taken down, we kindly ask you to reconsider submitting it. Reports should focus on maintaining fairness — not targeting competitors.
